Chengdu - Balang Mountains

Balang Mountains are 2 hour drive from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan. The temperature drops quick the higher you drive up the mountains. The almost unbearable heat and humidity of the city are no longer. And no mosquitoes! We drove up as high as 4500 m / 14700 ft. You can feel how air gets thinner. No trees are growing at that altitude.
