Chengdu - Old Teahouse

We visited Sichuan’s iconic old teahouse. It is about 20km / 12mi away from Chengdu in Pengzhen. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and the aromatic tea. Very unique experience. Chengdu is well known for its slow(er) pace lifestyle. Interesting fact about teahouses is that they used to be the only source of boiled hot water for the locals. Need hot water? - Buy it at a teahouse. It’s very nostalgic for local folks.
